I'm wondering how to tackle the King Dice fight when it comes to backing up the save files. To be fair, I'm pretty horrible at platformers in general, but I can't imagine that a Peashooter-only no-super A+ is possible for Expert difficulty, not due to skill, but because of the incredibly tight time you need to reach for that stage, and Expert increases enemy health. I did finally complete the stage with an A+ with a time of 2:00, but this was after several 2:03, 2:05, 2:01, etc. Other stages are quite easy to meet the 2:00 (with only the Peashooter and no super). Even if you parry every pink bar and pink skull that you can, it's very difficult to reach the 2:00 time limit for THIS particular stage compared to any of the other stages due to the length of the battle. No, it's very difficult to meet the time requirement in Phantom Express due to the limited amount of DPS you deal with the Peashooter-only and no super. You say that you were aiming for time like it's something casual. I don't think you can understand what I'm saying unless you attempt the stage yourself with the Peashooter-only and no super. Phantom express was ez pz and really unique The good news is is that the last boss I need for World 3 is Phantom Express. The problem is is that I've been doing a Peashooter no-equips A+ 0 deaths runthrough, backing up each save after every flag change, so it's taking me a long time to reach the point where I can actually know what the flag changes are.

Sometimes there are multiple unexpected flag changes related to 1 specific event. I could manually change each flag or set the stages to complete and then check the NPC's, but I've been trying to play through the game naturally in order to see if multiple flags change after certain progress amounts. I did figure out that Quint's dialogue is related to dialogue #5, but it hasn't been posted yet. newPurchase has unexpected behavior for me after doing Mausoleum III., and I don't know why it doesn't always get set back to false after entering a boss stage, unlike after doing the other 2 Mausoleums.
